Randy and I are fairly new to boating (about 3 seasons). When we moved to Lake Simcoe we decided we needed a boat so our first purchase was a 22' Doral Tara with a small cuddy and head. We quickly realized we loved being on the water so 3 months later we sold the Doral and purchased a 29' Thurdercraft Magnum with all the amenities. Within one year in 'the bigger boat' we made the leap of faith to our flybridge Carver - 'Hail Caesar' - named for the 1st mates' consumption of vodka and Clamato! Last year we made our first trip up the Trent-Severn to beautiful Georgian Bay. This year we are planning another (longer) trip with our boat mates - Sue and Dave on their Carver - 'Me Too'....
