Scott - what happened to the fishing trip??? awwww........too bad!

I had a great trip this weekend, a little bit of a whirlwind tour....lol Two great boat rides over and back to Vancouver Island, sun came just as we got going on Saturday and stayed out for the 'garden party', and had a great time visiting with friends and family (oh and more tequila...I broke my own rule - to drink tequila only in Mexico, lol)...then another spectacular ferry ride back to Tswassen! I got some more sunshine and lots of fresh air, loved it!!!

Oh and I saw a ton of seals on the way over......:)

I have one of those Maori necklaces I picked up in New Zealand years ago. Mine was carved by a Maori man from Opononi, and he gave it to me as a gift! Anyways I love it, but it's about 8 inches long, LOL.... it stands out if I wear it! They are nice though......

I'd row hard across the current! I was in a situation where the currents came and drifted us off suddenly. My Dad was on the big boat and saw what was happening, so he could have pulled anchor and come to get us, but I geared down and ROWED HARD and about an hour later we made it back to the boat!

But you guys have some good advice and ideas......things to keep in mind for the future!
