My name is Juliana, my family bought a boat 4 years ago. We docked the boat at Newport Marina on the Irondequoit Bay and I began working there just for a fun summer job. Fell in love with the boating world, worked there for 2 summers, and then Shumway Marine for a year. Through Shumway, I became in contact with a 53' catamaran called Wild Hearts. I joined the crew and moved down to Fort Lauderdale with them for the winter. Being in the Yachting Captial of the world, I decided to stay while the boat went back up to Rochester. I am currently working on boats down in Lauderdale, working towards my captain's license. I plan to attend the Chapman School of Seamanship this fall.
