About

I'm an Irish ex-seaman who lives and works on the Banks of the River Shannon. I have a 31 ft powerboat dating from 1968 which is the family cruiser. We use this all over Ireland's inland waterways system and occasional forays into the Atlantic. I have two smaller craft which are fitting out as research/survey vessels for inland and sheltered coastal waters.

Iruna my cruiser is used to travel all of Irelands inland waterways network(Canals/Lakes/Rivers) and occasional esturary and coastal excursions into the Atlantic.I worked on Trawlers from age 17 and spent a time in the merchant navy. My work today still involves boating.
