I currently own a canoe. I know, for some people that doesn’t qualify as a 'real' boat, but it's something. My wife and 2 young kids enjoy outdoor activities, mostly camping and hiking. I hope to introduce them (and myself) to sailing. That’s right I have never been sailing!!

I hope to become ASA certified in order to Bareboat charter and cruise the Great Lakes. Who knows maybe someday we will be sailing the eastern coast, the ‘Great Loop’, Bahamas, or even crossing the Atlantic.

I am always interested in hearing about other people’s cruises and adventures. So, let me know if you have any great stories or advice on what to do, or what not to do.
