Although I have been in and around boats since a young age, last year I finally bought my first one. It was a 15' Glastron that a good friend of mine had worked on and I powered it and used it at the beginning of the summer in 2007. I quickly found out that 15' is really small and at the same time that same friend was selling his 25' Whitewater. So in September of '07 I got the Whitewater and absolutely love it!

The boat is docked at a marina just a little ways up a river that flows into Long Island Sound, where I do all of my boating. Although I didn't get too much time last season, this summer I look forward to getting more comfortable with the boat and hopefully will be taking a couple of overnight trips with my friends who own their own boats.
