My father has had a house on Lake Hopatcong NJ since the late 80's. He had a 20' Sea Ray and then bought the boat he still has today, an 87 21' Chris Craft. That's where I fell in love with boating. Last year the planets finally aligned for us. We bought a 2001 35' Maxum express cruiser. We keep it at Brewers Stratford Marina in CT. Last year was my first experience boating on the open water. We've taken classes, read books, and studied everything we could about seamanship and piloting. We've ventured as far south as Atlantic City, and as far east as Block Island and many places in between.
