- PWC Event: Wavedaze 2007 is being held October 6th & 7th in Virginia Beach, VA
- This two-day PWC recreational and family social entertainment event will showcase the positive aspects of PWC's as a recreational activity and as a sport.
- Wavedaze 2007 (www.Wavedaze.com) is put on by the American Watercraft Association (AWA) Charter Club, the Virginia Beach WaveJunkies, run by Allen Loree. Brian Sawyer is also helping to organize the event.
- Riders are encouraged to attend from all corners of the United States, and even from around the world.
- The proceeds from Wavedaze 2007 will go to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.

- Hurricane Wilma FEMA Contract Boat Salvage Video Footage
- Aug 1, 2006 was the starting date of Poseidon Towing and Salvage's FEMA contract to rid the Florida Keys of storm damage and derelict vessels that had been a navigational hazard for boaters in the Upper Keys.
- The mother-ship, Poseidon IV, and other salvage vessels, headed offshore for three months with area photos & GPS coordinates of the derelict and sunken vessels, but they also came across many vessels on their own while working on the project (some 150 total were recovered).
- The Poseidon FEMA Contract video was filmed by Captain Rhonda du Bois, co-founder (along with Captain Maurice O'Conner of Aqua Novia) of Coastal Visions International, a maritime armed security & response team.
