Hey Don I am Capt and have been for these same owners for 14yrs. I grew up commercial fishing in Maine and found yachts when I got tired of the Gulf of Maine in winter. I enjoy it, but it is a lot more work than people realize. Unlike conventional jobs there are many times that you have no life of your own so to speak. I suggest trying it once and seeing if you like it.

What is your job on the boat? I am considering working on a river tug for the summer and am curious what working on a boat is really like. Do you enjoy it? I grew up in Daytona and do fishing charters occasionally here on Lake Erie.
