Mar 10, 2010Added hydraulic steering to trolling motor
Just finished adding hydraulic steering to the trolling motor. Tapped into the existing steering with a 6 way solenoid valve. The valve allows steering from MAIN or TROLLING. With this setup and the Raymarine X-10 autopilot, the trolling motor can now be steered by the autopilot. See all blog posts...

Thank you Julie. I enjoy watching you on theboaters.tv. Keep up the good work.
Check out www.marinette.com for more info.
I like my 28' Marinette because I can trailer it anywhere. Here in Michigan, because of it's wide beam, I can only do it during daylight hours M-F. That's OK because it makes for a nice 4 day weekend.

Welcome aboard, Dennis!
Wow - this is quite a day for Marinette owners on TheBoaters! We're happy to have you here!
~Julie
P.S. I may have to look into doing a manufacturer feature on Marinette for TheBoaters.TV.
