Mar 10, 2010Added hydraulic steering to trolling motor
Just finished adding hydraulic steering to the trolling motor. Tapped into the existing steering with a 6 way solenoid valve. The valve allows steering from MAIN or TROLLING. With this setup and the Raymarine X-10 autopilot, the trolling motor can now be steered by the autopilot.    See all blog posts...

PAINT AND BRIGHT WORK

2006 - Bottom paint stripped to bare metal and recoated with 3 coats of Interprotect 2000E epoxy primer and 2 coats of Interlux Trilux 33. 2010 - Sanded and applied 3 coats of Trilux 33.

I like my 28' Marinette because I can trailer it anywhere. Here in Michigan, because of it's wide beam, I can only do it during daylight hours M-F. That's OK because it makes for a nice 4 day weekend.
