Thanks Chris. We are running twin 454 merc horizons which of course are gas. The reason that they are good is because it was $50,000 more to get the diesel engines. We figured that money could buy a lot of gas and sfter 10 years I think we are over that number, but not too far. We cruise at about 22-23 knots and get about 1/2 mile to the gallon or about 50-60 gph depending on the type of stopping and going, no wake zone driving we are doing. I have a family of five and when my siblings 11 and 14 and I was 16, we took the boat to the Bahamas for the summer two years in a row so it's definately a family boat. She will comfortably sleep six, but showers are better if taken off the boat unless there is only 2 or 3 people. All togedther it has been a very fun boat throughout the years, definately the most worth while asset we have.
We run out of Vancouver, favorite cruising area is the southern gulf islands, with occasional fishing trips up to Desolation Sound, Cambell River, and down to Sooke, at the south end of Vancouver island.
