Alas, aCappella is out of the water in Rockland, Maine for the Winter. We're busy raising a new puppy and thought we could use a year off from a long distance cruise. Instead, we're spending the Winter in Maine, writing new software, and planning our next cuising adventures.    See all 1 blog post...

Jeffrey, I've often thought I'd like to get involved in ICW cruising on a live-aboard. I'm thinking about a motor-sailer. Is there any formal training required to be able to get into this type of endeavor? I know some training would be recommended for the skill set involved and was thinking of Chapman for this, but is there a license or anything required?

We're thinking of going up to Canada this Summer and down to the the Bahamas next Winter (2008/2009). The puppy needs to see what a sandy beach is like...
