About TheBoaters

There are about 18 million boats in the hands of about 10 million households in the US. The boating experience can be enhanced if we all share what we know about our boats, what we do with them and where we go. Boaters can meet other boaters who share their interest and passion and make the boating experience more social.

Meet the Crew:

Leonard Boord, Founder

A serial entrepreneur in the technology field. Has lived in Miami for 25 years, enjoying boating as much as possible.

Antonio Belfort, Founder

His entrepreneurial spirit combined with his management consulting experience in McKinsey & Co. has enabled him to develop companies from conceptual stage to fully operational businesses in more than 8 countries.

Rolando Manrique, Operations

Mr. Manrique has successfully managed and developed web projects for large media companies in Latin America. Fell in love with boating in the beautiful waters and small islands off the shores of Venezuela on the Caribbean Sea, spending many days and nights aboard with family and friends.

Juan Oña, Videographer and Editor

Juan Oña is creatively versatile. He is a musician and a videographer who likes to apply his technical and creative abilities to find interesting solutions. In his leisure time, Juan enjoys anything related to being in or on the sea.

David Cann, Chief Software Architect

David is a web developer. He is new to Miami and to the boating community.
